NU announces the opening of online applications for the 2022-2023 academic year for the Undergraduate Programs with the start of study from the Mid-Year on a fee-paying basis. Applications will be accepted from November 21 to December 5, 2022, inclusive (23:59 Astana time).
Applicants who applied for Mid year Intake cannot participate in the competition for a state grant or other scholarships. Requirements and conditions for admissions are identical to the standard admission of applicants.
Students enrolled in this competition will start their study in the spring term.
In order to apply applicants should follow the steps below:
1. Register on admissions.nu.edu.kz and create a Personal account;
2. Complete the application form and attach the required documents:
- Scanned copy of the National ID card and/or passport;
- Scanned copy of the notarized copy of the secondary school or higher education institution certificate (Attestat/Diploma), and NIS Grade 12 r Certificate/A-level Certificate (for NIS Certificate holders) or IB Diploma Programme with transcript (for IB holders);
- Motivation letter
3. Pay the application fee (the application fee is non-refundable).
The application fee is paid online via your personal account in the «My Application Forms» section with a bank card authorized for online/internet transactions;
4. Press the “Submit application” button. After that, no changes to applications are possible to make.
5. Submit IELTS (except IELTS Online test)/TOEFL(except TOEFL Home Edition) test results according to the instructions in a Personal account.
Important:
To submit your IELTS/TOEFL and SAT/ACT certificate results to NU, an official electronic report of valid certificates must be sent by the Test administrator directly to NU. Applicants must also upload scanned copies of certificates to their Personal account. Detailed instruction is available in your Personal account. To send verified results of the standardized test please use the following codes:
- IELTS - NU
- TOEFL - 6762
- SAT – 7915
- ACT – 5521.
The deadline for submission of test results is December 5, 2022.
