NU and the University of Wisconsin-Madison signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during NU's 10th graduation ceremony in a significant stride towards international academic collaboration. This long-standing and fruitful partnership evolved from 2010 with support and consultancy to the newly established NU. Today both institutions formally moved to a partnership of equals, counting already nurtured over the years relations. We firmly believe that existing established links and friendships will continue enhancing educational and research opportunities for both institutions.
As such, the two universities will explore mutually beneficial research projects, including applied and community-based initiatives. Plans include conducting joint scientific-practical conferences, symposia, workshops, and seminars to promote knowledge sharing and innovation. Both institutions will share experiences and professional development opportunities among administrative staff. The arrangement encompasses student and faculty exchange programs to promote academic and cultural interactions. Graduate and PhD students will be jointly supervised, strengthening academic support and guidance. The collaboration will offer postdoctoral training and research opportunities to enhance academic endeavours. Both parties will share information on activities and programs in areas of mutual interest.
