12 students from the United States arrived on a Middlebury College exchange program for a semester at NU. Along with the Kazakh culture, they will study the Russian language, international relations of Eurasia, politics, history, and culture of Central Asia, as well as the history of Kazakh music. This is not the first such program for NU, and previously, students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison came to study the Russian language and Kazakh culture during summer school, reported Tengri News.
