NU Red Crescent Society student club in cooperation with NU students and Astana volunteers visit veterans of World War II and elderly people in nursing homes on a weekly basis.
During two years of participation in the "Zhenis" project, volunteers were able to help not only the veterans, but also paid special attention to lonely grandparents living in nursing homes.
Thanks to the aforementioned project and voluntary sponsorship, anyone has a unique opportunity to visit veterans for communication, expression of care, gratitude and help. Volunteers provide the necessary funds for the purchase of products, medicines and materials for small repairs of apartments, and houses of veterans. The duty of the students is to deliver these products, visit the veteran and clean the house if necessary.
