Share this articleNU and Intel signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed by the President of NU, Shigeo Katsu, and the regional director of Intel in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and the Caucasus, Dmitry Kissel.
"I am very pleased to announce that NU teams up with another global firm namely Intel becomes a partner of NU. This partnership will lead to new opportunities for our students, faculty and researchers. So now we can proudly say: Intel inside!" - said President of NU Shigeo Katsu .
Within the framework of this signed agreement NU will receive information and technical assistance for the implementation of the integrated approach, Intel Education Solutions, which includes hardware, software, and methodological solutions. In addition, Intel intends to promote NU in the field of high performance computing (HPC - High Performance Computing).
Dmitry Kissel, regional director of Intel in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and the Caucasus , said: «Intel supports and participates in many programs in the field of education around the world which allows to address to the most successful examples of the implementation of various projects. We are pleased that the experience of our corporation will be used in the development of NU as a world-class research university, and sincerely believe in the success of this partnership!"
Mutual projects between NU and Samsung will be implemented mainly through NU Research & Innovation System, and university Science Park, as part of the Innovation Intellectual cluster, the development of which is a main stage in the Education, Innovation and Industry integration processes at NU.
