Professor Golubev holds a Ph.D. from the prestigious American University of Notre Dame, Indiana. He currently has the tenured Professor position at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida, where he is also the founding Director of ERAU Propulsion and Aerodynamics Computational Laboratory. Professor Golubev now leads an interdisciplinary Computational Aero Propulsion Group of multi-university Florida Center for Advanced Aero Propulsion. It is the most extensive aerospace engineering program in the United States, enrolling nearly two thousand undergraduate and graduate students.
“During my visit, we discussed the various areas of research collaboration ranging from safety and noise control of eVTOL urban air mobility vehicles to novel wind energy generation approaches. The completed first one-month visit paved the way to future collaborative research activities as part of the flex 6-month long Fulbright program split into three visits over two years,” said Professor Vladimir Golubev.
