Share this articleThe guests began with visiting the university campus model and the university study and research labs. In the Robotics lab Head of Russian government watched the robots used by NU students and researchers and learned in which industry areas they might be applied.
In addition to that Dmitry Medvedev also learned about current research projects of the university in Medicine. In the end of the visit the guests stopped by the university library. Russian Prime Minister mentioned that he had heard about a wide collection of electronic information resources that NU has. In the Library Dmiry Medvedev asnwered the questions from the students and wrote in the Honorary Guests Book. “I wish all the NU students and faculty a success in study and research. You are at an amazing university!” – wrote Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. NU students gifted the guest the NU branded cap and hoodie, and also suggested collaboration with Russian students in sport. Dmitiry Medvedev also received from NU the Sprial picture by young Kazakhstani artist Dastan Bisenov.
