With deep sorrow, we pay tribute to Kevin Nawn (1958–2024) – a teacher and colleague from the Center for Preparatory Studies, who passed away on February 1, 2024.

In August 2018, Kevin joined NU, where he taught Academic Communications to students in the Zero Year Graduate Program. His contributions in shaping the communication course and the program's overall success will leave an indelible mark.

Kevin was always known for his friendliness and warmth. Not only was he an excellent colleague, but he was also a devoted teacher who won the hearts of his students. Teaching and traveling were two significant aspects that defined his life. Kevin has visited around 100 countries from where he sent numerous
postcards to friends and coworkers. His kindness and memory will live on in our hearts, and we will dearly miss him.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to his family, relatives, friends, and the entire university community in the face of this immeasurable loss.
