More than 60 leading scientists of Astana, heads of universities, and research institutes gathered at the first meeting of the newly formed Academy of Sciences. Researchers discussed pressing problems of science and offered ways to solve them. The President of the Academy of Sciences, Akhilbek Kurishbayev, also got acquainted with NU’s laboratories and innovations and held a meeting with the university’s leadership.
