NU Center for Preparatory Studies would like to invite English language professionals and academics to the PIM Conference, which will take place on June 1, 2024, in Astana hosted by BALEAP (the British Association of Lecturers of English for Academic Purposes) and the autonomous organization of education «NU».
BALEAP hosts four Professional Issues Meetings (hereinafter - PIMs) each year. One of these PIMs will be held outside the UK for the first time. NU was honored to host this prestigious event for the lecturers of Academic English. The theme of this one-day conference is the: “Impact which COVID has had on higher education - “New Framework - New Balance?” The conference language is English, without the possibility of simultaneous translation.
The event will be held in a hybrid format so the speakers will present online and offline.
