Our distinguished speakers, Professor Waqar Ahmad, President of Nazarbayev University, and Professor Atakan Varol, Director of the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence, will lead the session “Kazakh Large Language Model: How Can Universities Drive Translational Impact in Generative AI?” at the Times Higher Education Asia Universities Summit 2025, which will take place in Macau on April 22-24.

This discussion will explore:

Cultivating AI expertise – What strategies can higher education implement to build AI skills and foster research ecosystems?
