LCOY Kazakhstan 2024 is a pivotal event under the YOUNGO mission, the official youth group of
the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and SDSN Youth
Kazakhstan. The conference will bring together young leaders, researchers, and experts from
across Kazakhstan to engage in discussions and actions on climate change and sustainable
development.
Key discussions will cover topics such as Climate Change in Kazakhstan, Assessing the Impact of
Climate Change on the Water Sector, Local Solutions for Climate Change Adaptation, and The
Future of Green Energy in Kazakhstan. A significant outcome will be a joint statement from the
youth of Kazakhstan, which will be presented at COP 29 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.
