Fiction is not only about captivating plots, but also about characters who overcome challenges, face their fears, and find the strength to move forward.
Such stories can become a true source of support: book heroes teach us resilience, inspire us, and help us believe in ourselves.
We invite NU students to a discussion meeting where everyone can share their own “books of support”, works of fiction in which characters became examples of courage and strength of spirit.
What to expect
Together, we will reflect on how literature helps us find light even in the darkest times and why the stories of fictional heroes often resonate so deeply with our own lives.
Language of the event: The discussion will be held in English, but you are welcome to share and talk about your favourite books in Kazakh or Russian as well.
