Online application for  NU Master’s programs for the 2024-2025 academic year is open!

The online application period for admission to the Master’s programs is open from November 16, 2023. 

Deadline for online application:

  • for International applicants – February 29, 2024 (13:00 / 01:00 p.m. Astana time);
  • for the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan applying for the programs of the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, School of Sciences and Humanities, School of Mining and Geosciences, School of Medicine, and Graduate School of Education – April 18, 2024 (13:00 Astana time);
  • for the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan applying for the Graduate School of Public Policy programs - April 29, 2024 (13:00 Astana time);
  • for the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan applying for the Master of Science in Finance program of the Graduate School of Business - May 30, 2024 (13:00 Astana time);
  • for the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan applying for the Full-Time Master of Business Administration program of the Graduate School of Business - June 14, 2024 (13:00 Astana time).

To participate in the selection process, applicants must fulfill the following steps:

1. Register on the admissions.nu.edu.kz portal and create a Personal Account;

2. Complete the Application form and attach the required scanned copies of the documents listed in the Personal account.

3. Press the "Pay and submit application" button to submit your application and pay a non-refundable application fee.

The application fee is 10 000 tenge (for the citizens of Kazakhstan and International applicants). The application fee is increased 3 times from the established amount when paid within the last two weeks before the first officially approved deadline or during the extension of deadlines for applications for participation in the admission process (if applicable).

It is not possible to make changes to the Application form after submission.

4. Submit IELTS /TOEFL results according to the instructions in the Personal Account.

Important:

In order to submit IELTS/TOEFL and GRE/GMAT (if applicable) certificate results to NU, the official electronic results of valid certificates must be sent directly to NU by the Test Administrator. The applicant also needs to upload a scanned copy of the certificate to his/her Personal Account. Detailed Instructions and requirements are available in the Personal Account.

The deadlines for submission of test results will be updated in the  “Admissions” - “Types of Programs”- “Master's Degree Programs”- “Important Dates” section of the nu.edu.kz website. 

Next steps:

Check the NU website for updates, the email you provided in the Application form and also your Personal Account to track the status of your application. In case of any problems with the online application, please send a request to the email address indicated in the upper right corner of your Application form, with your Applicant ID (a number assigned in your Personal Account) and the program name.
