Bachelor of Science in Chemistry

Our Bachelor of Science in Chemistry program comprises required courses and the following five electives: Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry

The curriculum ensures students are equipped with not only the fundamentals of chemistry but also with the analytical knowledge of chemistry and its many related fields.

Chemistry is often considered a “central science.” This is not unconnected to how instrumental the discipline is in promoting various technological advancements in the modern world. This branch of science plays a pivotal role in the layout and synthesis of chemical elements for applications in biomedicine, energy, and the environment.

Enrolled students of the Department of Chemistry at NU SSH are engaged in research, experiments, and rigorous study in becoming chemists with a comprehensive understanding of chemical principles. Basically, our students are trained to be able to analyze chemical equations, solutions, elements, and their various applications in today’s world. Skills our students ultimately graduate with also include laboratory skills, calculation and simulation skills, among many others.
